I use scientific research and fiction writing to feed a fascination with regret. I am especially interested in the role of regret in addiction. Formerly a research Neuroscientist, my first novel THE CURE was published in 2011 (http://www.rcwlitagency.com/Author.aspx?auid=1239)
In collaboration with other artists, this residency will explore the nature and function of regret with a special focus on how knowledge flows to and from science/ medicine to art/literature. Using a digital fiction platform, I hope to promote a novel approach to understanding the fiction and non-fiction of regret.
