One of the longest running projects at Bank Street Arts has revolved around the residency of historian and academic Karen Harvey, from the University of Sheffield. Having written a monograph about the history of the domestic environment in Georgian times, Karen was keen to investigate new ways to communicate her work: we were interested in both extending our approach to the Residency Programme, by directly involving academic research and at the same time to learn about the history of the Listed Buildings we occupy.
