Bryan Eccleshall: 365 Drawings

Posted on January 8, 2014February 6, 2019
08/01/2014

In early January, Bryan Eccleshall decided to make a drawing for every day of 2013. Each day a drawing was uploaded to a blog. Going public was an important move as it meant that there was an expectation that Bryan had to fulfill.

The drawings are of overlooked parts of galleries and museums. Light switches, radiators, floorboards, seats, and stairways feature heavily.

As the year progressed, some drawings have been sold. These won’t be in the show but will be replaced by Bryan, during the exhibition, with drawings of the works in their new homes. Drawings of drawings, as it were.

Drop in and meet Bryan during gallery opening hours.

All of the works in the exhibition are for sale.

Further details and a short film about the work can be seen here.
